The Team

Pebble Geo was launched in December 2023 by Ben Wood, Tracee Findlater and Tanya Richmond.

Ben Wood - Co-Founder, Product Lead

Before starting Pebble Geo, Ben worked for two decades on complex geoscience software projects at the British Geological Survey. He is an original co-creator of BGS Groundhog. Ben now runs an independent geoscience innovation company (Sun Spiral) alongside Tracee Findlater, and oversees the direction of the Pebble Geo project. A geoscientist by education, Ben is active in the industry and a member of the AGS Data Management Working Group.

Tracee Findlater- Co-Founder, Sales and Customer Support

Tracee looks after Sales and Customer Support for Pebble Geo and is the first point of contact for non-technical enquiries. Her career in HR, training and development has crossed a variety of sectors, including construction, finance, manufacturing and education. She now runs an independent geoscience innovation consultancy (Sun Spiral) alongside Ben Wood.

Tanya Richmond - Co-Founder, Product Development

Tanya is a software developer and technical trainer who has worked in a range of industries including logistics and healthcare. Most recently Tanya was an original co-creator of the BGS Groundhog project with Ben Wood at the British Geological Survey. Tanya operates as a joint-venture partner with Sun Spiral under her own company, Tangary Solutions, and is responsible for product development.
