Ben Wood

Ben oversees the strategic direction of Pebble Geo, and gets involved in all aspects. A geologist by training, he worked at the British Geological Survey from 2000 to 2022 in a variety of technical and management roles. He is driven to create products and systems that address user needs, and is passionate about customer service.
Outside of Pebble Geo, Ben has interests in Georgian architecture and classic cars. He is also an amateur watercolourist and tailor.

Customer Accounts Director

Tracee looks after customer accounts, handling sales and non-technical support, from setting up trials of Pebble Geo to answering licensing enquiries and onboarding new users. If you have any questions, or need to make a change to your license, just reach out and she’ll make sure you get a prompt, helpful answer.
Outside of Pebble Geo, Tracee is a writer and published her first novel, The Unravelling of Flora Cotton, through Lyria Books in 2025. She also works as an exam invigilator at the local FE college.

Tom Fletcher
Product Manager and Director

Tom works on product development, and gets involved in most areas of the business, from support to sales. Apprenticed to Ben's team at the British Geological Survey right out of school in 2018, Tom then spent three years working overseas, before returning in mid-2025 to join the Pebble Geo team.
Outside of Pebble Geo, Tom is a watersports enthusiast from windsurfing, to his two (tiny) boats, and has sailed across the Atlantic. He also loves to travel and has spent time living overseas in countries such as Greece and Andorra.

There from the start of Pebble Geo, Tanya is an independent software developer and technical trainer who has worked in a range of industries including logistics and healthcare. Tanya was an original co-creator of the BGS Groundhog project with Ben and Tom at the British Geological Survey. Tanya operates as an independent partner with Sun Spiral Limited under her own company, Tangary Solutions Limited, and has contributed to product development on a part-time basis.
Tanya officially retired in December 2025, but remains linked to the project and stays in touch and up to date with our strategic direction.
Tanya now plans to spend more time travelling.
